SMS Messaging Terms and Conditions

1. Program Description
CLRX Pharmacy offers an optional SMS messaging service to communicate with patients about their prescriptions.
Messages include new prescription notifications, prescription status updates, prescription-ready notifications, refill reminders, and other patient-specific pharmacy communications.
This messaging program does not include advertising, promotional offers, or marketing messages.
2. Enrollment and Consent
Patients enroll by voluntarily providing their mobile phone number and explicitly agreeing to receive prescription-related SMS messages from CLRX Pharmacy.
Consent may be obtained verbally during a telephone conversation or in person with pharmacy staff.
Pharmacy staff document patient consent in the pharmacy's records.
After enrolling, patients receive a confirmation text identifying CLRX Pharmacy, with message frequency, rate, HELP and STOP information.
Enrollment is voluntary. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing medication or receiving pharmacy services.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on prescription activity, refill schedules, and the patient's pharmacy needs.
Messages may be recurring.
4. Messaging Charges
Message and data rates may apply.
CLRX Pharmacy does not control charges assessed by a patient's wireless carrier.
5. Opt-Out Instructions
Reply STOP to any CLRX Pharmacy text message to unsubscribe.
After opting out, patients will receive confirmation of their unsubscribe request and will no longer receive messages from the applicable SMS program unless they enroll again. To re-enroll, reply START.

Reply HELP to a CLRX Pharmacy text message for assistance.

7. Privacy and Security
CLRX Pharmacy respects patient privacy and handles health information in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including HIPAA.
Standard SMS messages are not guaranteed to be secure or encrypted. Patients should protect access to their mobile devices.
SMS opt-in consent and mobile phone information will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

8. Delivery and Carrier Disclaimer
SMS delivery depends on wireless carrier availability, network conditions, and other technical factors.
CLRX Pharmacy does not guarantee immediate delivery of text messages.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Patients should contact the pharmacy directly for urgent prescription questions.
9. Changes to These Terms
CLRX Pharmacy may update these SMS Messaging Terms and Conditions as needed.
Revised terms will be posted on our website.
